Painted House

Painted House

It stood in the middle of a field of daisies,
The grass around it perfectly manicured,
Not a tree in sight,
That could block the view of this marvelous sight.

One wall was painted a bright red,
The colour of passion and love,
Another glowed a bright blue,
Brighter than the brightest sky.

The next embraced a loud yellow,
So loud you could hear it scream,
The last wall stood proud and purple,
A colour that took over the light around.

The hat that sat atop the walls was more special,
It was painted a single pink colour all around,
I looked at a sight never to be seen again,
A house painted like a fairy tale.
